PRODUCT OF THE MONTH !

\n

As from now and each month we present a special offer on our homepage.

\n„Styrian Man to Styrian Man“ -
Porsche- Junior changes Team:\nKlaus Bachler with Konrad-Motorsports!\n\n

2014 both at Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup\n
as well as at Porsche Carrera Cup Germany\n\n

The decision has been made – K.B. is going to change his team, in 2014 he will drive for Konrad-\nMotorsports!
This has turned in to a real “Austrian-connection” –
as the new team leader as well as the Porsche junior both come from Styria.\n
Bachler is going to contest both the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup as part of formula 1 as well as the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany with his team,
which is stationed in Verl near Gütersloh.\nAfter his great last season, with the victory in Spa as the highlight, KB had quite a few options.\n
Why did he finally chose Konrad – motorsports?\n\nKlaus Bachler:”
I would like to point out that it was not a decision against Förch racing but one for\nKonrad-motorsport.
It was a good cooperation, for which I would like to thank Wieslau Lukas and\nFrank Funke.
But I really wanted to drive both series in 2014 and that was not possible with Förch”\n\nBachler had quite a lot of offers, in the end 2 teams were shortlisted.
\n\nKlaus Bachler: “This decision has not been easy.
But I was finally convinced that the total package from Konrad-motorsports was best for me”.\n\n
First contact with Franz Konrad happenend a few weeks ago in Daytona, where Bachler contested\nthe 24 hour classic with Konrad s team.

Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, Run Nr. 6 in Belgium: The \"magic word\"
\n
Eau Rouge also fascinates Porsche Junior Klaus Bachler. . .
\n
The Styrian wants to continue with his performance from Budapest in Spa
\n

\n
With much anticipation but also a bit of reverence Klaus Bachler travels to Belgium, where the sixth round of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup is held at the “Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps” this weekend , August 23 to 25.
\n
Glorious victories and tragedies are connected with Spa – especially the legendary sections of routes such as La Source; Blanchimont or the sink of Eau Rouge. Because of the difference in height amounting to a total of about 100 meters along the 7 kilometer course and the many curves, which have very high centrifugal forces, it carries the nickname \"Ardennes Rollercoaster\"
\n
Klaus Bachler: \"I\'ve heard a lot about this route and have recently tried to internalize it on the simulator. It\'s probably fascinating for all racers to drive through Eau Rouge. Let\'s see how quickly I can manage to adjust to all the pitfalls. I have a little experience already. On the one hand through last year\'s guest appearance in the Supercup, on the other from my Formula 3 time where I even obtained a podium finish in 2011. Nevertheless Spa is certainly one of the biggest challenges this year. \"
\n
In Budapest the 22 year old Styrian finished as the best rookie, managed to achieve fifth place his best result of the season - which put him in the overall standings rank 8 and in the rookie standings up to second place. In the following four-week summer break Klaus and his team Förch Racing had some tests, jobbed as an instructor for Porsche, kept physically fit - and also enjoyed some relaxed days in the mountains and gathered new strength.
\n
Klaus Bachler: \"I have prepared myself very well for this weekend because Spa is a very important race for me. I want to continue the good performance of Budapest and in particular confirm the result. \"

Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, Run No. 5 in Hungary:
\n
Klaus Bachler a great performance in Budapest from 10th place to fifth place!
\n
Porsche Junior gives himself a birthday present
\n

\n
Klaus Bachler gives himself his best birthday gift today: The Styrian who turned 22 years old yesterday, showed himself from his best side during the fifth round of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup on the Hungaroring. He came as the best rookie 5th place, his best result of the season and so jumped up to 2nd place.
\n
Klaus Bachler: \"Briefly what we saw today shows the great potential we have. The car was very good, and I am very satisfied with my performance. The fourth-best time underlines how good I was in the run. The duel with Kevin Estre was great. Unfortunately, there was not really much space. Overtaking would have been possible only with really much risk. All in all it was another step forward. What is still missing is that I can manage to do a fast lap in qualifying. Yesterday it was already nearly 50 percent the case. With the first set of tires I was second, with the second outing I had some bad luck with two yellow flags. \"
\n
In the overall standings Bachler improved, now with 34 points on place 8, it looks even better in the rookies: The Styrian is currently ranked 2nd!
\n
After a four-week summer break, the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup will be continued in Spa on 25 August with run number 6.

Error-free and quick stint at Red Bull Ring
\n
Klaus Bachler tanked in ELMS a lot of confidence for Budapest!
\n
The fifth PMSC run is in Hungary at the weekend
\n
This was a strong performance by Klaus Bachler! The Styrian impressed yesterday with his guest appearance in the ELMS at the Red Bull Ring with an error-free and above all very quick stint. This gives the Porsche Junior a lot of confidence for the fifth round of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup at the weekend (27th July 28) in Hungary!
\n
Klaus Bachler: \"That was really fun. It has actually turned out as I had imagined - no errors and continuous good times. I am totally happy. Especially to start in the ELMS, because it was a new experience for me again. Thanks to all who have contributed. \" After three hours of driving time, the trio Klaus Bachler / Horst Felbermayr Jr. / Horst Felbermayr sen. were graded 16th place overall (P 6 in the GTE standings). But there is no time to rest. For the 21 year old man it carries on this weekend with the fifth run of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup at the Hungaroring in Budapest. Although the course in Hungary means new territory for him, the Porsche Junior has set a clear goal with his team Förch Racing:
\n
Klaus Bachler: \"We must do everything in free practice to find a good qualifying set-up, because that’s the key to success. I want to come quite far forward in the qualifying in Budapest. Then it\'s also possible to pick up points in the race. In the first half of the season we often just lacked the final touch that should has been the famous dot on the i – that should be different in the second half. \"

Porsche Junior in \"Austrian car\" at the Red Bull Ring
\n
Finally Klaus Bachler can start at a home race: The Styrian will attend a guest start in the European Le Mans Series, in the third round at the weekend (19th July 20) he will reinforce the team “Proton Competition” at the Red Bull Ring and use the short break in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, where the second half of the season begins in Budapest on the last weekend of July.
\n
ELMS Spielberg:
\n
In his guest start in Spielberg , Bachler will sit in an \"Austrian car\" with Horst Felbermayr and Horst Felbermayr Junior in a Porsche 911 GT3 RSR. The weekend begins on Friday (19.7.) with two free practice sessions each lasting over an hour (10:30 o’clock and 15:40 o’clock). On Saturday from 10:20 o’clock the 50-minute qualifying session is on the agenda of the program, the start of the over three hour lasting endurance race is scheduled for 16:36 o’clock .
\n
Klaus Bachler: \"Clearly, the anticipation is great. A home race is always special . Many friends and of course my family are sitting on the grandstands and keeping their fingers crossed. Any long distance race is also a learning process where I can gain many new experiences. It would be very great if we could stand on the podium in the GTE class after three hours. \"

Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup., run nr. 4. In Germany: Klaus Bachler achieved despite his “turn important points with P 9 at the Nürburgring! Porsche Junior after botched qualifying strong in the race

\n

Strong performance by Klaus Bachler at the fourth round of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup at the Nürburgring: The Porsche Junior despite starting on 12th plac and a \"turn\" in the first round still ranked 9th and scored important points. The victory went to the Dane Michael Christensen an other Porsche Junior.

\n

For the Styrian the weekend started very well with 7th place in Friday\'s free practice (\"We had a good performance\"). Because of this Klaus was very optimistic about qualifying. But then a mishap happened on Saturday: On his first outing he slid off the track, thereby damaging the front of his Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. The crew of his team Förch Racing managed to repair the damage to some extent so that he could continue, but a top result was no longer possible. At the end reached 12th place – one could see the disappointment in his face after the qualifying.

\n

With a lot of anger inside Bachler had a great start in the race and made good progress before he was hit by another driver at the rear, turned and fell back to P 13th. Klaus showed a lot of fighting spirit afterwards, was quickly back in 11th place and the he overtook Vernay in the middle of the race. He then made a lot of ground, overtook even Stanaway close to the finish line and finished the fourth round still in 9th place!

\n

Klaus Bachler: \"That was really good today, I am very satisfied. Too bad that I got turned around. Without this incident it would have been possible to achieve much more today. Because I had a great start, I could make up four places. This race gave me a lot of confidence. \"

\n

The Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup now moves into a three-week break, the next round is on 28 July at the Hungaroring in Budapest.

\n
The venue of the third station of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup is the English traditional track in Silverstone this weekend. For Austria’s figurehead Klaus Bachler a next opportunity to show his good form, which he has demonstrated so far. After all the Porsche Junior from Styria landed in the previous races in Barcelona (P7) and Monaco (P10) each in the top 10!
\n
21 year old Klaus is full of energy after the long break, “I can’t wait.” Even if he is - as recently in Monaco - again breaking new ground: \"I\'ve never raced in Silverstone, but I used the race-free time to get as much information as possible about the course. And I\'ve heard that it is an absolute driver\'s track. Now I hope that it will be a benefit for me. After all I managed fine in Monaco. \"
\n
At Silverstone, the Porsche Junior will put the emphasis on qualifying: \"So far this season I have not managed one good lap. We have worked extensively in the tests. And I want to implement this on the weekend. Because a good qualifying result is half the battle, \"says Bachler, who is just one point in the rookie standings currently second behind the New Zealander Richie Stanaway.

Very difficult conditions during the 24-hour classic at the Nordschleife - race was interrupted for 10 hours. . . Slip in \"Pflanzgarten\" sealed the premature end for Klaus Bachler & Co.
\n
Klaus Bachler was literally thrown into cold water at the Nürburgring during his first appearance at the ADAC Zurich 24h Race: Due to torrential rain and dense fog, the traditional event was interrupted for almost 10 hours!
\n \n
Despite these very difficult circumstances Bachler and his teammates Michael Christensen (DK), Robert Renauer (D) and Michael Illbruck (D) with the Porsche 911 GT3 R from the \"Pinta Team Manthey” held up considerably well for a long time and were on the 13th overall place until it happenened about one and a half hours before the end in the section \"Pflanzgarten”: Klaus Bachler: \"It was suddenly totally slippery in one curve. I really tried everything, but there was nothing to be done. I just took off. \"
\n \n
Failing shortly before the finish is, of course, a double bitter experience for the young Styrian.

Klaus Bachler: “One cannot set many goals for oneself at a 24-hour race, as anything is possible. Fact is, that it will probably be the hardest race of my career so far. Especially the Nürburgring specialists, who take part in race contests throughout the year, will have major advantages. It would be perfect if we could finish the race without any major incidents.
